  Ok, friends. I'm asking for honesty. I'm looking into seeing a holistic doctor for my hypothyroidism. Any experiences, thoughts, recommendations? My doctor has done nothing but look at me and think my weight gain is my fault when I work out 4-5 days a week and am always watching what I put in my mouth.   Gillian - first of all you are beautiful inside and out! I have a cousin that swears by the paleo diet. She too had the hypothroidism. www.paleodiet.com

  Bonita, has he tried low carb? paleo diet? www.paleodiet.com and keep under 20 g of carbs... Hope that helps,
