It seems like most places are geared towards children, or are insanely expensive. Is there any place to find a quality instructor that is affordable, and open to adults?

    Do you really need lessons? Music is quite self-teachable in my opinion. You can find plenty of tutorials on YouTube for free to get you started. If you want a more directed learning experience and you're willing to pay a little bit, check out www.playgroundsessions.com. It's $9.99 a month and will keep you busy for a couple of years at least.
