I'm hoping for someone who is informative as opposed to my current practitioner who over the years has never once mentioned that there are directional aids--let alone ones with bells & whistles :)

  Teya, yes, they're licensed and very good. But you have to go to another audiologist to get your ears cleaned of wax first. I went to Richmond. My ENT guy is Adam Marvin on Pill Hill and his phone is 510-452-9213. Lovely guy.
