We’ve adopted 10 senior dogs over the past decade, and I’d really like to surprise her with a small breed puppy....Yorkie, Pug, Pom, Doxie. I’ve already checked the Humane Society and Animal Shelter a few times, and they haven’t had what I’m looking for. So just checking to see if anyone knows of any local breeders that might have some puppies available in the next few weeks that they would recommend? I did check out the Barking Boutique as well, and while their pups were adorable, they seemed to be 3-4 times the price of buying directly from a breeder. I’ve also heard enough negative feedback about where they source their dogs from, and I’m not sure I could purchase there in good conscience. So GR redditors, any suggestions?

Stacy, I started my seach with breeders.net. You put in you zip code and it looks for breeders around you. I live in IL and it gave me breeders as far away as PA. But it also gave us one about 20 miles away. We found our little girl (who is still to arrive) on pets4 you.com. I hope this helps some. Midi
