  Regenexx.com near Boulder is a leader in stem cells and provide an alternative to surgery. I have tried both and wish stem cell treatment would have been available when I needed extensive knee surgeries. Regenexx has a great book on orthopedics that is worth a read. Downside is their procedure is not covered by insurance.

  Don't waste your $s on a Bledsoe Brace. I have the answer for your husband. Regenexx.com. Check it out. Dr. Handelman in Mill Valley does stem cell therapy using your own bone marrow, and blood platelets to mix up and re inject back into your knees exactly where you need to grow more cartiledge in your joints where the arthritis does the most crippling deterioration. I did it and am really happy I did. It's working and my knees are feeling better and better each and every day. Braces really don't help at all. I had 2 sets of Bledsoes. No bueno.
