Sir_Clicks_a_Lot replied:Hotels.com has a decent rewards program that would be worth signing up for if you anticipate staying in hotels on any regular basis in the future. I like to search by location, then filter out by guest rating (I prefer 8.0 or higher) and price. You may be able to find a slightly cheaper price if you book direct with the hotel chain (e.g. on hilton.com) rather than hotels.com, but the rewards make Hotels.com a better value for me in most cases. This allows you to mix/match hotel brands, rather than being tied to one chain for rewards.
