  About 2 months ago when I had the Spring tune-up on my AC - the repair guy told me I was leaking Freon from the coils and due to the age of the unit he wouldn't suggest any repairs - but to replace it. It's running fine but want to have a plan in place. He gave me a quote but want to get others - any recommendations?

  A real slow leak is not usually a problem. My unit needs a pound of Freon every other year. David with Air Doctor is who I use for my house and my rent properties and is very honest if you would like a second opinion. His number is 972-840-1875 and will give you rough numbers on your return on investment on a new unit, which is usually much cheaper to keep the older unit.
