  My plumber told me that the fixtures you can buy at HD and Lowes are not the same internally as the ones you can buy from plumbing supply places. The cheaper price is due to plastic parts instead of brass. He recommended a website called faucetsdirect.com. Ihave been very pleased with the faucets I bought there.
