About us
I have always been an artist at heart, my creativity manifesting itself through every media imaginable- from crayons on bedroom walls to oil and acrylic on canvas; pencil on bristol and charcoal on oaktag. Throughout the years, my chosen career has varied, but the art bug never stopped biting- whether it was teaching preschool or yearning to be a comic book artist. Suddenly, the bug didn't just bite- it straight up hit me in the face as hard as it could. I discovered a whole new level of artistry on the ultimate canvas: a face. From the first time I looked in the mirror and actually loved who looked back at me, I knew this was where I was meant to be. If I could give that feeling to even one person, I could say I did what I came to do. I have done that, and more... I find beauty in every face, and pride myself on being able to not only enhance that, but show my client exactly how to see what I do in them.
I am extremely knowledgeable about the products I choose for my medium, and though I will never stop learning, I am highly skilled in the application. My attention to detail and ability to actively listen make me stand out above many others as a true professional in my field. I completed aesthetics schooling in the summer of 2010 to further my knowledge of skincare and treatments with a truer understanding that even the most expensive makeup won't make up for properly cared-for skin. In the years since I fell in love with makeup artistry, I have been published in several magazines and books, as well as had the privilege of working with so many beautiful clients and talented photographers. Rates vary, dependent on the need of the client and type of project. If hairstyling is needed as well, please specify and referrals will be provided.
