About us
Angel Gowns of WNY, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, is dedicated to creating beautiful final-photo and burial gowns, handcrafted by volunteers, from generously donated wedding and special occasion dresses, to offer comfort to grieving families during their time of loss.
We are Angel Gowns of WNY and we are dedicated to making Angel Gowns for babies that never make it home from the hospital. We accept donations of new/used wedding, prom, bridesmaid, flower girl, communion and other special occasion dresses.
Though the wedding gowns are donated to us by people such as yourself, we still need to purchase supplies such as thread, seam rippers, needles, ribbon, tissue paper, boxes, labels and postage for shipping. All Angel Gowns are donated to Neonatal Intensive Care Units within hospitals to offer the bereaved parents this gift, made with love, for their childs' final burial. A small gesture to properly honor their child is all we're hoping to provide. As one bride stated when she donated the gown she wore at her wedding over 40 years ago, she is happy that her wedding gown is now going to have a new life with the tiniest of Angels.

If you would like to donate your wedding gown or special occassion dress, or if you would like to become a volunteer to sew the gowns, please email us at angelgownsofwny@gmail.com. We will reply with shipping information. In order to be appropriate, we can only accept white, off white, ivory, cream, champagne or pastel colors.
