I am expecting a baby and honestly, even our local vet doesn't believe this dog is re-homable. :-( he has multiple skin issues that we have tried treating numerous times without success. Unfortunately, he definitely can't be trusted with a new baby.. he has never "attacked" a child, but he is aggressive & snappy & the vet no longer sees him, I have to give him the shot to tranquilize him at home before the vet can see him. Now that I'm pregnant, I just can't wrestle him in the tub to tranquilize him. He's very loyal to us, just not trustable with new baby & has lots of skin problems :(

Update on TX breeder release - We have a vet in the local area of where the dogs are being released that will hold the dogs til a ride is found. We have received many offers from individuals that can help transport. I am still collecting names and hope to have a transport set up soon. Again the dogs are not being released til Friday, Dec 21, so the ride will be no sooner than Dec 22. We are still looking for fosters and babysitters in the area of Wichita, KS, Kansas City, MO and Omaha, NE areas. Does anyone living in Denver, CO have a good dog trainer/behaviorist that they could recommend? I have a 6 year old, female Boston who has been 'queen of the castle' for far to long. I take complete responsibility for her behavior because I totally spoil her. She has a VERY 'alpha dog' type of personality. She's amazing with people and young puppies, but if it's an adult dog she becomes very possessive, territorial, and agressive (especially on her leash). At dog parks she completely ignores the other dogs and shows absolutely no interest in them (she just sticks close to my side and follows me around. For some reason her behavior is 100% different if the other dog is a puppy, then she because playful and gentle. I'd like to rescue an adult dog, but I'm afraid I'll never be able to with her current behavior. If you have any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate them!!
