Celios asked:Pet sitting for a bird? I have a cockatiel (small parrot) and just moved from Montreal. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a pet sitter or pet store that could babysit him for extended periods (a month or more) if I need to travel? In Montreal there were a few places that would keep him for ~$5/day and let him out of his cage during the day (cockatiels are very social and need the companionship). Does anyone know of something similar here in QC? Thanks!

I've only just rescued him about a month ago, but I've had a death in the family and have to be away for a week - from Friday morning (10th) until next week on Thursday evening (16th). I would like someone who can spend some time with him, give him exercise and make him feel safe because he is a rescue and he has had a hard time in his previous home. That said he is really loveable and affectionate towards humans but he's not great with other dogs. He often gets anxious especially if there are a lot around or if there is an aggressive or excited dog. I am planning to leave on Friday morning so drop off sometime tomorrow if thats possible?
