Good morning people of The east side. Well my dog’s paw came up randomly limp, she was fine up until last night and I’m not sure what happened. Can anybody recommend a good local Vet to help diagnose the problem? TIA

It's getting close to time to send my 16 year old dog over the rainbow bridge. We can see that she's in pain. She can't hear anymore and her sight is nothing like it used to be. We know we're blessed to have had her as a part of our family for this long!
When we had to put our 11 year old Lab to sleep it cost us around $300. Can anyone recommend a place that won't be as pricey? It's hard enough to do this and I believe Hanover (her usual vet) is one of the highest priced places around.

If you don't mind the drive, you can go to Chicago Ridge animal welfare. It's right off of 294, so not a bad drive at all. I don't know how much it cost, but it's worth a call. They are super nice and usually very well priced. The number is 708-636-8586.
Does anyone know of an Inexpensive clinic for pets (cheap rabies shot) I need to get my dog her yearly rabies shot. Last year I went to the closest place by me called, Banfield in Petsmart (Bedford Park). In all it came out to $90 (check up / shot). Does anyone know of any places that aren't so expensive? Id appriciate any help :D
