Hello, I was in an RTA and needed emergency services assistance, once the worst was over I was then in a private room on a hospital ward where OTs visited me to assess the damage to my left arm (no nerve conduction, full wrist drop following a break in ulna and radius and dislocated elbow). Following my treatment, I decided I wanted to be an OT and now study at UWE in Bristol, one term into a full time course and I am overwhelmed by my own progress and my knowledge through being a patient. I'm not sure any of this will help you, but thought I'd share in case it did.
