  Ken G. wrote: Eric Schein came out last year and gave us a quote on replacing our HVAC system. The amount was less than others I had received so we went with him. He got the system installed and we were happy. A few weeks after we started using it, it stopped cooling the air. We had him out again, he said that it was just a little low on coolant and that he filled it up. About 6 to 8 weeks later it stopped cooling again. Once again he came out and added coolant. This week, (less than a year since the installation) we turned the system on, and again, it did not cool the air. He informed me that it would be a week before he could make it out. With the heat we have had, we could not wait, so we called another company. They came out, found a leak, and recharged the system (very expensive). The new Tech also said that if they have to come out more then once, that usually indicates there is a leak in the system. Why Eric didn’t check for a leak? I don’t know, perhaps he is lazy. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. We regret ever giving him the business in the first place.
