About us
Dog Days is a new enterprise, formed in 2013 and run by Allie Johnson, within the fast growing community of Terrace. A professionally run service designed to provide dog owners with extra help to exercise, socialize and train their canine friends.
We can pick-up and drop-off your dog from wherever in Terrace, then take him or her on a fun adventure hike and exploration, always mindful of their safety and welfare and returning them very happy and content, plus well exercised.
Central to Allie's approach is for the dogs to make new friends, explore local trails and advance on basic obedience training through the use of well-proven, fun-loving reward-based training.
From experience Allie knows that this will help with developing relationships and inter-action with other dogs, reduce destructive behaviour and separation anxiety, ensuring an all-round, well-balanced and happy dog. And happy owners too!
Allie is always equipped with tasty treats and is even more generous with her love and praise.
ABOUT THE OWNER:
Allie has worked with dogs for 7 years, exercising, socialising and training them. She has gained essential knowledge and experience over these years, initially being trained by a reward- based professional trainer and then under her own volition at several different doggie daycare establishments in North Vancouver & Squamish BC. In addition to direct interaction with a wide variety of dogs, with equally as varying personalities, Allie has also developed her management skills, to ensure that the best care for dogs is provided by a successfully-run, dog and dog-owner friendly, local organisation.
She has a natural love and respect for all animals, wild and domestic… and nature at large. Dogs, however, are at the top of her list and she treats every client's dog with the love, devotion and the patience that she does with her own. And when she has 'time off' she is still mostly outdoors adventuring – whether rain, shine or snow.
Her experience, fitness and... show more trustworthy nature mean she will provide an essential service for dog lovers within the Terrace community.
