  Oh, gosh. So I know you said Glen Burnie/Annapolis, but I can not say enough wonderful things about Cherry Blossom Bridal in Capitol Hill, DC. It is AMAZING, the people who work there are wonderful, and you should be able to stay in that price point with their sales/trunk shows. I will also say there's a consignment shop in Baltimore, http://www.baltimorebridalsuite.com/, that has plus size gowns and they seem super nice.

Can you please recommend someone you've used? I'd like to keep it below $400 if possible. I need the train to become detachable, lace either trimmed or removed by my arms and probably taken in just a smidge. I'd prefer to stay around Baltimore/ Columbia/ Glen Burnie area.   Jodi at the Bridal Suite in Baltimore is a pro at altering wedding dresses, and she's super sweet to work with... And her fees are typical. It all depends on the fabric, how much is being hemmed, etc., but you can always make an appointment with her to get a quote! http://www.baltimorebridalsuite.com
