We hired him with specific instructions not to use filters on our photos, and we hired him with an extra shooter so that the two of them could get better coverage of the event. Instead of doing that, they stayed together the entire time (and each is in quite a few of the other's photos), and they focused a LOT on the groom and groomsmen, without hardly photographing the bride or bridesmaids until after the ceremony. He took NO photos of the wedding party line up (bride and groom standing with groomsmen and bridesmaids) until specifically requested by the Bride during the reception. We received ONE photo from that line up, and the groom's eyes are closed. All photos look very filtered, and the colors are off as compared to our guests' iphone photos (see examples below). His second shooter also posted videos on social media without tagging us, and when we requested them, Mike Pham refused because they "dont do previews." Then we didnt even get any stills from those videos when we got the final photos themselves. When these things were raised to Mike Pham's attention, he offered to sell us the "raw" photos for $800. We countered that we believed $400 was fair, in light of the issues. His response: the untouched photos are no longer available. Period. We have offered to pay the full $800 many times, but he refuses. He repeatedly blames issues on us, complaining, for example, that the bride "wasnt dressed" when we arrived at the venue. But we hired the guy to take a getting ready pic of the bride and bridesmaids, which we didnt even get because when we arrived, he was nowhere to be found. (Turns out, we now know, he was shooting the groom and groomsmen the whole time.) We offered not to leave bad reviews if he would promise to learn from the situation and would not make the same mistakes again. He has accused us of extortion. Long story short: save yourself the headache and do NOT hire this guy to shoot your wedding. The worst part of the whole situation is his refusal to sell us the "raw" version of our photos, even for the price he first offered. My mom tried calling him dozens of times, and he never once answered the phone or returned a message. Very negative experience that others should not have to put up with. Hopefully this review helps!
