Opportunely located in close proximity to the metropolis’ most happening block, Gossip benefits from its discreet position at the quiet end of Thonglor Soi 15, right behind J Avenue. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a chat and laugh with friends in a lively, authentic and no-fuss joint. Hipsters and socialites appreciate both the intimacy and relaxing setting of this Gastro Bar with character, while also knowing that only a 2-minute walk can bring them to the bustling neighboring nightclubs.
Both experienced, extremely talented and approachable, Gossip world-class Mixologist Karol Ansaldi – he bartended for the iconic Japanese restaurants Zuma in London, then Bangkok – and renowned Chef Julien Lavigne – he collaborated 9 years with the two Michelin Stars Pourcel brothers, including at their D’Sens restaurant in the Bangkok Dusit Thani hotel – combine their expertise to provide top quality and innovative drinking and dining experiences on a daily basis. Master of the open-air cocktail bar, Karol keeps delighting his guests with fresh ideas and new methods to offer perfectly balanced and just succulent new concoctions. Chef Julien similarly spends countless hours refining his tasty culinary creations using spices and ingredients coming from around the world. Completing the sensory experience, a talented line-up of DJs delivers quality Jazz, Soul, Funk, Motown, Jazz-Hop and Oldskool Hip-Hop tunes.
A few things you’d want to know: cocktails enthusiasts and foodies regularly visiting Gossip would want to keep the secret… but just so you know, the menu offers great value for money! Although of the highest quality, the made-to-be-shared meals and small bites don’t come with overly sophisticated presentations and hefty price tags. I looked up Above 11 but they are playing hip hop which isnt our thing and tried Maggie Choos but they can only offer bar seating as they are booked out. Any other suggestions?
