  There is a HUGE folk band scene in the DC area, if that is where you reside. Check out www.wfma.net for schedules of folk shows in the area. Join SAW (Songwriters Association of Washington at www.saw.org ). There are a TON of house shows and house conc erts in the area. Go to Iota. Join Focusmusic ( www.focusmusic.org ) which has their annual meeting at a home in Rockville on the afternoon of Sunday, February 8, 2015. I book tons for Electric Maid.
