  We recently moved into a home with a variety of flooring throughout the house with several odd transitions between them... Some hardwood, a variety of tile, a variety of laminate. Nothing coordinates in my opinion, and I'm interested in replacing everything except the hardwood. However, there is one transition that is tile that oddly juts into the living room, where it should be hardwood. So I have a few questions: 1. Is it possible to refinish the hardwood to a darker color and not so red? 2. Is it possible to replace the green/gray tile with a matching hardwood? 3. Who should I contact to get an estimate that won't cost my children's college fund? Thanks!!
