A bit of a weird request, but does anyone know of a restaurant in town or in Galveston that has no plates and instead has a plastic bag covering the table that they dump food directly on to? Have a friend visiting from abroad in a few weeks and I guess somewhere they saw a restaurant where they give you gloves and then dump the food onto a table and really wants to go, but I don't really know of any place locally that does that (although I'm out in Cypress, so it's mostly chain restaurants around here).
I'm thinking a seafood or cajun restaurant might be the best bet. Google led me to [this place](http://coloradobites.com/denvers-tastiest-hidden-gem-crawling-crab/) in Denver, if anyone knows of a Houston equivalent that would be great.
Any good seafood places nearby to get crab legs? Something comparable to Red Lobster.
