Anyone know of any beaches in the area where you can have a ceremony? Not sure we want a resort type place like Isaiah Tubbs.

I recently photographed at Golden Beach and it is nice. The ceremony is very private overlooking the lake but you do need to drive between the ceremony site and reception but can do formal photos right down at the lake/beach front. you can look on my facebook page to see some sample images if you'd like www.facebook.com/KristinRosePhotography. In Oshawa you can get married right down at the lake and the reception venue is right there and I do believe you can get married at the Cobourg beach (I have not personally been there but have heard of others who have) These next two are resort types but I found them quite private and did not even notice resort guests and they have very nice properties for photos - Elmhirt Resort ceremony overlooks the water and Nestleton Waters Inn (bed and breakfast) Hope this helps.Enjoy the planning :)
