  Since we're talking about all this fun stuff like taxes and red tape. Insurance..... Who does everyone go through, we're currently through Erie for liability ect. and it just came up to renew again this month. We carry general liability of course and additionally equipment and business property insurance. All in all our bill is about 700 a year. That sound about right compared to what other ppl are paying? Anyone get insurance through a professional association? If so do you pay significantly less?

  I use Miers Insurance Agency (off Lehigh Street - can get you specifics) and my specific insurance is Selective. I can tell you from personal experience last year, get GOOD insurance. My agent/insurance is AWESOME. I won't go into detail here, but I had 2 disasters at my store (the paperbag) last year 1 month apart and I was paid for EVERYTHING - including loss of income. Don't skrimp on insurance - don't pay unneccarily either. If you want, call me 610.820.9959 and I'll be happy to go into detail with you. My agent told me it was good that I spent the extra $$ on loss of income insurance.
