About us
I began making cakes for my children 19 years ago, within a few years family and friends began asking me to make cakes for their celebrations and this is when my hobby started becoming my profession.
I am a self taught cake decorator and have developed my skill by reading dozens of cake books, hundreds of magazines and most importantly spent thousands of hours designing, baking, icing, modelling, building cakes to suit and hopefully exceed my customers expectations. I now teach others some of the skills I have learnt.
In addition to full days (and sometimes nights) of making cakes for my customers, I have entered competitions. I enter the International Squires Kitchen Annual Cake decorating competition, my cakes have taken 1st place for the past two years. I love to push the boundaries at these competitions and get to see the fabulous work of other cake decorators.
