About us

I offer in-home training with gentle, positive training methods.

With gentle and positive training methods, dogs not only behave better, but actually enjoy the training process. Reward- based methods also strengthen the dog/owner bond. I give treats, toys and affection, but for a long happy life, training is really the best gift of all.

Positive based training is teaching you how to teach your dog to be part of the family.

Basic obedience such as sit, lay down, stay, come, polite greeting, walking on a leash and potty training can be taught along with any specific behavior issues that need to be addressed.

I started volunteering at a local kennel in April 2009, which continued into the summer of 2010. The owner took in several puppies for me to work with because I chose positive reinforcement pet dog training.

I taught Puppy and Basic Obedience classes at a local college from September 2010 thru August 2012.

Most of my experience in the last 3 years has been during private sessions with owners and their pets at their homes.

I am involved in a local nonprofit organization called CARE MT, which their main focus is spay/neuter financial help. We are also working to promote education.

I worked at a local Veterinary clinic for a year, where I was on the job trained to do most duties of a vet tech.

I attend the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) annual conference whenever possible.

I am available evenings and weekends.

$50.00 per hour

Mileage is $0.50 per mile outside of Sidney city limits.

Sessions are up to 1 hour – this is time spent with the dog (usually 15 – 30 minutes) and the majority of time is spent teaching you how to train your dog.
