  Can anyone recommend a place to get chair cushions re-stuffed? Right now it's full of feathers that are pushing through fabric and going all over - looking to get a different stuffing material to go inside seat and back cushions. Both are removable and I think unzip. Pic shows shape and fabric of oversized chair

  Lisa, the best way to handle this is by using an upholstery professional. I recommend Back Alley Furniture 469-867-6812. Derrick is fantastic. If I had to guess, he would likely cover the existing cushions with a polyester batting. It would better contain the feathers. Could also be possible that he can cut new foam.

  Back Alley Furniture 469-867-6812. Their work is stellar and a quick turnaround generally. Pickup and delivery is $50 each way. Prices are exceptional as well. Have used them repeatedly for clients and they never disappoint! Derrick Chen is the owner.

  I've used Back Alley Furniture twice and been very happy. Post a picture on his page and he will estimate how much fabric and a price. I've scored good deals at JoAnns and HobbyLobby during fabric sales or with coupons to make both projects reasonable and bring tired old pieces back to ones I enjoy. (And yes one of them was the glider and ottoman formerly in our nursery with both kids, I couldn't bear to part with it so I updated it for a reading corner in my office.)
