About us
I am available to tutor for elementary school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, SAT Math, SAT Subject Tests Math I and Math II, and high school / college placement exams. I have tutored many students after school and in their homes, in both one-on-one and small group settings.
I graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree. Before moving back to Connecticut, I taught high school math for five years in Massachusetts. I taught Algebra I (5 years), Algebra II (2 years), Honors Algebra II (4 years), Geometry (3 years), and MCAS Test Prep (2 years). I also taught the Math Team (5 years) twice a week after school to prepare them for monthly competitions with high-level topics ranging from basic algebra to advanced number theory.
I proctored the SATs and SAT Subject Tests for 5 years, so I can work with your student to prepare for the test set-up, timing, and "to do" list for the day of the exam.
I am currently employed by the Fairfield Police Department, so I recently passed a rigorous criminal background check.
