Dave S. wrote: Steve has done several projects for us. An entry added to a manufactured home, and a complete screened porch built on an existing deck are two of the larger ones. He charges fair rates, handles design, construction and finish. He kept us informed of schedules, let us save by doing some of the purchasing of materials, and did an excellent job. I've had the major players out here for estimates, Michael and Son, WE Brown and ReBath. The issue is that they (except ReBath) will only do the plumbing, then I have to find a drywall contractor to finish it off. ReBath was in the $10K range (they want to remodel the whole bathroom), and the two plumbers were in the 2-3K range. I want a reasonable, responsible insured company to remove/replace a bathtub, reuse the faucet, finish off the wallboard.
