  Remember the bull elk outside our cabin last weekend? He has been a McGregor Mountain Lodge winter resident since his youth and visits daily. He was given nickname "Brat" because in his younger years was known for his "cantankerous" ways. Today he is a gentle giant...but you still want to keep a safe distance. Here he is earlier today, enjoying the fresh falling snow in Estes Park, CO at the lodge. He sure is a handsome guy. If you ever visit the area, I highly recommend staying at this lodge - the best. We can't wait to go back for the hospitality, magnificent views and the daily visits from Brat.
