About us
Coming from a long line of seamstresses, owner Kat Hathaway earned the name "Mistress Seamstress" from several affluent drag queens while sewing as a side business in college. Originally considered as a roller derby name, Mistress Seamstress is much better suited as the grassroots brand which seeks to defy the mainstream mediocrity and mass produced mush!
While predominantly custom order, Mistress Seamstress does have future plans for events and building a ready for sale inventory.
