We also understand that people are not on vacation all the time so we also share our day-to-day experiences with our son who lives with a disability.

Hi everyone. We are planning a family trip next October, traveling along the Murray. Starting at Rennark and finishing at Albury Woodonga. We have 2 special boys , one with CP in a wheelchair, and one ASD, ADHD. Does anyone have any recommendations on accommodation and sights to see. Hoping to run our trip over approximately 3 weeks.

Can't help you, but, Have a look at the website http://havewheelchairwilltravel.net It's great - run by an adventurous Australia family. They are really helpful if you have travel questions.

Hey Bronwyn check out Have wheelchair will travel for great travel tips. I suggest Renaissance Chocolates...magic. And the Whiskey and Chocolate factory in Corowa...the kids can make a giant freckle. Both are accessible. We have stayed in a cabin at the Ball Park Caravan Park. Youd need a portable ramp for the stairs in the 2 bedroom cabin but its still better than the "accessible" one...no accessible showering though. There's a Liberty swing in Wodonga. We have stayed in a house in Albury which was supposed to be accessible...but so wasn't! Have fun organising your trip
