About us
We are an exclusive, Kennel-free facility for those like us that don't want to leave their furry kids in kennels or cages.. Your furbabies can have their own vacation here at Happy Tails while you go away. We will welcome your furry kids into our kennel-free home while you are gone, and they will feel right at "home away from home".
Since our boarders stay in our house with our dogs and other dogs, here is a quick checklist of requirements for your dog to stay here at Happy Tails:
-All vaccinations up to date
(Bordatella is recommended but not required.)
-On monthly flea/tick preventative
-Spayed/Neutered
-Must get along with other dogs
-No signs of aggression
-Housebroken
-Meet and Greet prior to scheduled visit
This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all..
My husband and I have 3, well-socialized and healthy dogs that are used to other dogs coming and going at our household. I am a former volunteer foster-mom for the Humane Society have managed an Animal Hospital, and have always kept our friend's and family's dogs while they were on vacation.
We have 10 acres that are entirely fenced in, a pool, access to a large, white sandy bottom creek and a half acre fenced in area. All our dogs get 3 daily walks around the property (it's like a trip to Disney for them) and frequent trips to the creek to play and swim if they want. This is doggy paradise!
We do not use crates/cages unless requested by you, so be assured your furry child will be part of our "pack" while they are here. (And yes, they sometimes even sleep in our bed with us!)
We have no breed restrictions, however we will not keep dogs that show any type of aggression, so we require a trial visit, or "Meet & Greet" prior to your vacation/deployment. All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations.
All dog(s) must be spayed/neutered.
Be prepared to bring your dog's own food to avoid tummy upset, any medicines they need and a blanket or bedding that is familiar to them.
Rates per dog are as follows:
Daily... show more rate: $15 ($35 on Major Holidays, list below)
Overnight: $20 ($40 on Major Holidays)
Weekly rate: $120 ($140 during Major Holiday)
Monthly rate: $400
Starting in 2015: An additional $20 fee will be added for the following Major Holidays: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
