  anyone know or is a farm doctor. The vet I just went to was a D**K. My rabbit has an eye infection because he scratched his eye. So the vet says that the ONLY options are to put to sleep or a $1200-$1500 surgery to remove eye. And threatened to call animal control if I didnt do either of those option. I dont want this rabbit to die for nothing. So I have antibiotic eye drops and some oral pain meds. Where my vets at? Any suggestions? I dont think that a senseless death of a sweet rabbit is just. What do you think about eye drops & pain meds until he heals or losses the eye? Anyone have experience with this?

  I know it would be quite a distance for you to go but I highly recommend Slade Hayman at All Creatures Animal Hospital in Wauchula. He has saved more than one of my animals and he is not greedy like that A..hole you have told us about. Of course a veterinarian has to make a living too but that sounds extremely expensive to me.
