Heading down to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area for vacation again this year. Usually go in July but this time making it in September. Will only have about 4 days but, of course, I will make a day trek to Cades Cove. Love going there and the ride up the mountain. Just curious if anyone had any motel/hotel ideas on where to stay in Gatlinburg that were reasonably priced. I've stayed at a few of the motels there (and in Knoxville) but never really knew how they would be until I got there since I'd get my reservation online. Thought maybe someone who had actually stayed at a place could give me more insider info on certain places.
