What is liquid roofing?
Liquid roofing is a cold applied systems for both cold and warm roof designs that cure into flexible waterproof coatings, designed to adjust to fixings, seams, welds and joints.
Why is this better than felt or sarna roofing?
A liquid system has a much longer guarantee than either felt or sarna. The liquid leaves you with no seams, welds or joints, so there is minimum chance of your roof leaking.
What can this be applied to?
This can be applied to -
* metal
* wood
* asbestos
* ashfelt
* felt
* brickwork
* concrete
* coping stones
There are also various methods to cover other materials.
What does the process entail?
Every roof is different, it could need to be deep cleaned or stripped off and boarded first, depending on the type and condition of the original roof.
The roof would then be primed and the base coat of the liquid system applied, this has to be left to dry for 24 hours. The first coat does leave your roof waterproof during this time.
We then return the next day to apply the top coat of the liquid roofing and finish the job. This approved system ensures your roof is secure and protected against the elements.
