A quote from the author: "As healthy as my lifestyle seemed, I contracted measles, mumps, rubella, a type of viral meningitis, scarlatina, whooping cough, yearly tonsillitis, and chickenpox, some of which are vaccine preventable.   I understand you are trying to do the best thing for your child (as every mom tries to do) but please look into immunizing your child more. I too talked to multiple doctors/nurses and they too helped explain to me why. I then was introduced to this lady and her blog about all the things she has suffered from because her mom chose not to immunized her give it a read if you have time http://www.voicesforvaccines.org/growing-up-unvaccinated/ I love Doctor Gibbins, Westside Pediatrics Cincinnati, he very supportive of my "natural ways" and the fact I am still breastfeeding my 14 month old.
