  South east Toronto family health team at either 840 coxwell or 1871 danforth both run by same people, they are excellent along with the pharmacist below 1871 he takes care of all the patients that come through.

  I have a new one who seems good so far but have only met with him a couple of times. It's a family clinic, so once you're in you have access to their walk-in clinic and other services. Others in the clinic may also be accepting new patients. http://www.setfht.on.ca/ (I see Dr. Harris)

  http://www.setfht.on.ca/index.php Family Doctors accepting new patients aren't the easiest to find in Toronto so I would take one who seems like a capable medical practitioner before I looked for any particulars. Although if you don't mind extra costs and you are willing to sign up to a private clinic you might find someone more to your liking

  Have you had the skin/patch tests done that will tell you what you're allergic too? If not I think that would be a good thing to do, they test a whole bunch of stuff and you would have a definitive answer as to allergies vs asthma and how you can treat it. I know it's not in your area but I've never had any issues with my family doc at the South East Toronto Family Health Team. They always seem keen to do diagnostic tests and listen to what I have to say - I had a follow-up for asthma when I had some breathing difficulties on extreme exertion back in May. They also suggested patch testing as it could have been allergy-related exercise-induced asthma. As it turns out I haven't any issues for a while so it's a mild seasonal thing and I didn't bother to go through with the patch testing.
