  I am looking for day care for my potty trained 2 1/2 year old, 2 or 3 days a week, as well as take my 5 yer old for a couple of hours after school those same days. Preferably near Randerson ridge elementary. I am new to this area of town and don't really know where to start. I tried calling stepping stones Childcare but got a weird message saying they cannot accept messages at this time. OR recommendations of day care near old city quarter (near my work), and we would just need after school care for my oldest near Randerson. Any info is much appreciated!

  Hi Arden! If you haven't already, I suggest contacting pacificare for a list of daycares in your area. I would also recommend joining the facebook group 'parents looking for childcare on Vancouver island'. It's a great way to connect parents with childcare providers.   Hi Melissa, I have a licensed family daycare in south nanaimo. Not too far from your preferred area. As of right now, I have Wednesday-Fridays available for October.
