  I'm looking for a therapist for my 4 week old baby - he was delivered by forceps. Not sure whether to go for cranial osteopath or craniosacral therapy - unsure of the difference. Has anyone any experience of either with infants? We live in Warwickshire, but willing to travel anywhere in the Midlands for good recommendation... Thank you!

  I'm unsure of the difference too, I think it is that craniosacral therapists are not also osteopaths but I might be wrong. I am sure whichever one you go with would be good - I have used a cranial osteopath for about 6 years including for my then 3 day old, found it really helpful! in fact she is basically our family GP, she sets us back on the right path whenever we wander out of kilter. Unfortunately I am Brighton though so Bec Krebs is a bit far for you!

  Hi Jenny, my son is 7 weeks old and had cranial osteopathy this week! OT was amazing to watch and the man was brilliant smile emoticon really thorough. He was recommended to me by our lactation consultant&midwife for his great work on other babies&she even uses him herself. It is in Birmingham if your happy to travel ill get you the details.   I have taken my son since he was 5 days old for cranial sacral therapy! He is now 9 years old & we still go! I don't know where u live but I have details I can give you! The lady I see does both specialises in paediatrics & lectures on it in London too! Let me know if you want details! X
