About us
My name is Rachel and I am a mum to three gorgeous children.
I first realized I had a passion for making cakes
when my eldest had her first big birthday party at
the age of three. Along with all the other party
food I wanted her cake to be homemade so I bought myself a novelty cake making book and picked out
the perfect cake for the occasion - a princess fairy.
My daughter loved her cake so much, her face lit up when she saw it. All the parents at the party were amazed too. Looking back at it i'm very proud of my first attempt at a fondant cake and happy to say
I've greatly improved since then.
I then went on to baking cakes for friends and family, with each one getting more and more adventurous.
I am completely self-taught. my cakes are all fresh, homemade, hand carved and dyed for the perfect finish.
I love bringing an idea to life, starting with just a few ingredients and white fondant, finishing with a beautiful tiered or colorful novelty cake.
I make everything from cupcakes to cake-pops, single layered cakes to tiered cakes for any occasion.
I love a challenge and like to think of myself as a perfectionist.
