A couple of seams have split on our boat's cockpit seating (material is heavy duty faux leather.) marine trimmer says can't repair and quoting obscene price - typically for marine sector - to re-upholster.
Is there an upholsterer who lives in the real world in Wraysbury interested in taking a look? We're selling the boat so it makes no sense to spend fortunes

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a company in the UK that does waterproofing and replacement of sod cloths please. We have 5 icelandics that need doing but loath to shell out on two sets of couriers. Many thanks

<http://www.canvasandnylon.co.uk/repairs.php> They've just replaced the zips and windows on a mess tent for my Scout Group, together with some minor seam stitching. Not cheap, but *very* good quality - and they know what they're talking about.
