    Yikes, no broadband available at new house-I work from home so this is disasterous! Can anyone recommend any good alternatives (satellite, mobile broadband)????

    http://www.no8 wireless.co.nz/ We use them and they are pretty good. Can be a bit laggy during peak times but all isp's get that. Their electrician is awesome . You'll end up paying quite a bit more than if you had dsl available (price you pay for country living unfortunately).
