Whichever roofer you choose make sure you get 1) Insurance Certificate with you as certificate holder. 2) Waiver of Lien with final payment. 3) Written guarantee for roof labor / material. 4) New roof should qualify as a capital improvement and you should not be charged sales tax. Make sure 1) Contractor pulls all permits under his / her license. 2) You get an insurance certificate from the contractor listing you as certificate holder.. 3) New Kitchen Qualifies as a Capital Improvement.. No sales tax should be charged and you should get a capital improvement certificate. 4) You should get a waiver of lien with final payment..
