  Can anyone recommend a good cleaning person or service? I’m new to town and used to have a person (a friend, actually) who would come and clean a few hours every couple weeks. I’ve tried to find something like that here but a number of businesses have stopped or aren’t taking new clients since Covid hit, and the ones that are still open have a crazy backup and want to schedule two weeks out to come and look around first and THEN make an appointments. It’s like, omg, I have some money and I want to give it to someone to help make things cleaner, how hard does it have to be? It’s doubly tough because our cleaner back home was a longtime friend who had her own one-woman business, so we really trusted her in our home. Can anyone recommend someone they trust? At this point I’d rather go with an individual than a company.
