  Update on December 5 Christmas Cocktail Party. We are not able to secure a private room for our estimated party size (30 guests), so we must change plans. We want to find a midtown Manhattan bar where we can have a cashbar at the main bar. The challenge is that bars in midtown Manhattan are usually very crowded on Friday evenings in December and the volume might make our party less feasible.   Jim Fitzpatrick, I have a suggestion: Faces and Names, 161 W. 54 th Street, between 6 th & 7 th. Centrally located, close to several subways, easy location to get a cab. I've been there several times for Texas Shakespeare Festival NYC Alumni Gatherings, and was just there last Monday night. They have a main bar, and a back room, food, comfortable setting - perfect in my opinion. 30 may do the trick for them, but I've never plannned anything there: http://facesandnames.com/
