  Does anyone have any recommendations for mechanics in the area? I have to have the rear seal replaced on my Silverado, which is a somewhat involved repair. I got two estimates, in the Bee Cave area, this morning, which were $400 apart. One with a mechanic that I've used before (the lower of the two) and the other at McSpadden's. Also waiting on a call back from Christian Bros, in Lakeway...but not holding out a whole lot of hope on that one based on reviews that I read on Yelp. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

  Jerry Dixon Automotive. As a matter of fact I have my wife's Cadillac there right now. It's about 20 minutes from Lakeway. I've been using them for 7 years. Honest, won't do work that doesn't need to be done. 512-288-0094. Tell him Ron Whatley sent you if you decide to use them.
