  HelloEveryone, A question-I have recently switched from oil to gas heat.I have a 275 gallon oil tank in my basement.It is "empty" but there is always a "sludge " layer left at the bottom that needs to be cleaned out prior to the tanks disposal.(I have the town permits). I Have a HUGE hole cut in the side of the tank for easy access and cleaning....So the questions: Can someone recommend a person who provides the service of cleaning out this sludge ( And possibly removing the entire tank )after the town inspector inspects that its clean) Thanks for any help!

  I used Lombardi 201 796-3390 for my tank removal at my home in Edison. But two other names are: Tomco 732 433-8414 and Advanced Tank Services 1800 440-8265 For a 500 gallon tank it is about $1500. do not have them remove without township approvals ...See More
