About us
At MJ’s PlayCare Center we strongly believe in the theory that children learn best through play. We consider it to be the cornerstone of our curriculum. We will provide protection, security, stimulation, support, limits and affection to all children in our care. We believe children will blossom best in a child-oriented environment rather than one designed to be teacher-directed. At MJ’s PlayCare Center children are given the opportunity to explore materials and participate in a variety of experiences. Activities are carefully planned and implemented in an age-appropriate manner so that all children in our care can participate with confidence. Our center offers a variety of play areas such as dramatic play, art, building blocks, music, manipulative toys, science, and books that foster a child’s curiosity and natural desire to learn. We help them develop independence, problem solving skills, and self-esteem.
