  Greetings new friends! My husband and I are currently planning a Chinese wedding reception in Seattle on February 24th, and are in desperate need of a few recommendations. We are not local anymore (live/eloped in Washington, DC and already had a Boston reception) but are throwing another party for our family in Seattle. Our reception venue is all set, but we are looking for the following vendors to make our day complete: Photographer: we are NOT looking for your traditional event photog, rather someone who has a strong eye for background and posed photography. We are wanting to do a photo shoot around the city’s most famous spots with just us. We’ve done this two times now (in DC and Boston) and we’re experts at the pose. We need the photog to tell us where we should go to set up the iconic backgrounds. After that we’ll be headed to the restaurant (Wild Ginger) and we’ll want to get some basic event pics as well. My guess is the entire project will be about 6 hours, and we’re open to newer art photogs that need to expand their portfolio. Budget will really depend on the photogs experience, but we’re looking for someone under 200/hour. Hair/Makeup: I need a great hair/makeup squad. I’m fairly easy (a simple updo and some great fake lashes make me happy), but I’m unable to do a trial (I’m not local). I have plenty of pics from our parties in DC and Boston, so am just looking to copy that. Budget will be around 200. Understanding that I’m not exactly early to this game, I wanted to see if anyone here had recommendations of folks that you may not find all over yelp. I appreciate it in advance!!!
